Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn was born on july 15, 1606 in Leiden, Netherlands. Born in a wealthy family, Rembrandt received his basic education in latin and thereafter he atended to University in Leiden. Since he was young he demonstrated to be a fan of painting and so he studied with dutch masters until he inaugurated his own studio in Leiden. In 1627 Rembrandt started to teach painting and two years later he began to work for the Hague Court. He died in Amsterdam october 4, 1669.
